New York, 1930's

A jazz trio, standing on the doorstep of great career, is kidnapped by frenzied sheik from Shir sheikdom.
His court vizier, cunning Zamir, uses a magical spell that changes musicians into statues. Now they can`t escape from the sheik's palace.
However, the sound of coins can bring them back to life and make them play again.

Years pass.

On his deathbed, the conscience-stricken sheik reveals the secret that there is redemption for the statues.
Statues learn that the spell ceases to work as soon as their music is heard everywhere, even in the most distant part of the world.

This brings back hope to the statues' golden hearts. They escape the palace to get rid of the curse. Pursued by the vizier they travel all over the world.
With every single note, conquering another city, country and continent they get closer to the ultimate liberation.
